Last Prisoner Project
The Last Prisoner Project (LPP) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to cannabis criminal justice reform.
While tens of thousands remain incarcerated in the U.S. for non-violent cannabis offenses, the broader impact is felt by their families—parents, children, siblings, and spouses—left behind and separated from their loved ones.
To right this injustice, we partnered with LPP on “The Pen to Right History,” a campaign focused on delivering justice for those affected by cannabis incarceration. At the heart of the initiative is a symbolic pen—held by incarcerated individuals to write personal letters sharing their stories and calling on President Biden and U.S. governors to use that same pen to sign legislation that brings them home.
Impactful orange was chosen as the campaign’s primary color—originally inspired by the color of prison uniforms. Today, it stands as a bold symbol of urgency, visibility, and justice. Featured across the logo, pen, packaging, and campaign site, the color reinforces the emotional weight of the cause and amplifies the campaign’s call to action.
