ADLaM

As part of the “ADLaM: An Alphabet to Preserve a Culture” campaign, we unveiled the new official ADLaM logo—designed to honor Fulani heritage while enhancing recognition and engagement with ADLaM as the official script of the Pulaar language.

The modernized logo preserves the original symbolic elements—refined to enhance clarity and impact—including an open book, quills, and the message “Write & Read,” alongside the name “ADLaM” set in the newly optimized typeface, ADLaM Display.

Rendered in cobalt blue, the logo’s color was selected for its associations with enlightenment, intellect, and study—reflecting the values at the heart of ADLaM and its mission to empower future generations through literacy and cultural preservation.
